Being a [university student](https://www.forbes.com/sites/francesbridges/2018/04/28/the-5-best-life-tips-for-college-graduates/#28ecd8295a83) can be and often is quite a challenging and rewarding experience. Anyone who has been a university student knows this all too well. There is quite a lot to be said about the fact that while university comes with many rewards, it also comes with challenges that pop up throughout the experience and can make students feel like they are struggling to navigate the higher education experience as well as they want to. This is without a doubt one of the biggest struggles that higher education students have.

All to oven, we see students try to fit into the status quo what they think is expected by then and as a result they find themselves in a position where they are struggling to maintain a positive approach to not only the higher education experience as they perceive it but how they can use it to the best of their ability to provide the best possible chance of longevity and success in a career after they graduate. For me, I was able to find a university that was the right fit for me and ever since I enrolled, Monash University has proven to be every bit as valuable as I want thought it was.

For me, [university](https://www.theguardian.com/education/2018/mar/22/the-great-learning-curve-how-to-improve-your-study-habits) is all about being here because I genuinely want to be. Going to university for the right reasons is really important because there is nothing worse than committing to a three to four year program (if not longer) and finding that you were struggling everyday to get her because you genuinely feel like you are only doing it because others want you to or you feel like that is what is expected of you. Going to university for the right reasons is all about choosing to go to university and better yourself through further education for the advantage and the benefit of yourself and your career path. And the best way to achieve this is through choosing a higher education program that you are truly passionate about.

My experience as a higher education student has been really positive for the most part. While course I have had moments where I have been challenged (after all, that is what higher education is all about), for the most part I have really found that this has been a really positive experience due to the fact that I have been wholly dedicated to ensuring that I am not only committing to what I want for myself but committing to the passions that I really love. Monash University helps me break open barriers and open doors and windows that I never thought were possible prior to enrolling and starting my higher education career here.

Already, Monash University has truly exceeded all of my expectations and helped me to shape my career before I even graduated and stepped foot into my chosen career field. Ultimately, I want to work amongst the best [road accident lawyers](https://www.arnoldthomasbecker.com.au/personal-injury/road-accidents-tac/) in my area and so Monash University has done a lot for me and terms of setting up experiences and opportunities not only in the classroom but through seminars and networking events that have allowed me and all other students that go to this university to really break down barriers and find ourselves getting real world experience as well as experience in the traditional classroom. It is without a doubt one of Monash University's greatest assets. |
